this weekend we're sneaking away for a little time together!

More Frozen Peaches

(it is peach season around these parts. this is the second method for freezing peaches that i've done this year. the pictures are from last year. the first method is this one.)

Deon's Frozen Peaches Recipe

2 quarts peeled/skinned and diced peaches

1 cup sugar

3 teaspoons fruit fresh

1. place all the ingredients into a bowl

2. stir and mix them all up

3. divide the batch in half and place in two labeled quart freezer bags

4. press flat and lay in your freezer to freeze

Salad Bar

salad bar for dinner is fun.
when the spinach and most of the lettuce comes from our own garden, it's even more fun!

and all but one tomato plant and one pepper plant survived. yippee! (take a peek.)

Pillow Nest

 gather all the pillows and cushions you can find and carry.

arrange them just so.

 climb.

 sit.

 crawl.

it's spring break. we just got back from visiting my sister. and now what to do here for the rest of it...lots of outside time, i think. especially in the garden!
