so exciting! you should see our pepper plants - okay, so you really shouldn't. they didn't get watered yesterday and look quite sad today. never mind that they're not getting pollinated and those that did get pollinated were relieved of their button sized fruit by an excited little boy. oh well :) it's fun to see your's look so beautifully yummy!
You have the greenest thumb! I love those purple flowers at the first! Is that a pumpkin?(the last picture). How does something that large and that high off the ground not fall off? Awesome!
WHAT IS THE TOP PURPLE FLOWER CALLED? YOU DEFINITELY HAVE YOUR GRANDFATHERS GREEN THUMB. I TOO HAD FOREBEAR'S WITH EXCEPTIONAL GARDENING SKILLS BUT I AM AFRAID THAT MY THUMB IS ONLY MILDLY GREEN. EGGPLANTS, PEPPERS AND EVEN POMEGRANATES. I AM IMPRESSED.
Miss Rayndrop, you made me a bit misty-eyed as I read you comment to me....thank you very much. You are one busy bee...sewing, gardening, bottling or is it canning, {nice header, btw}, mothering.....oh the many hats...nice work. I really enjoyed and related to the "rich" post..thanks!!
Great pics! Everything looks absolutely amazing! I have to agree with everyone else! You sure do have the gree thumb! We will be at grandma's and grandpa's next weekend so we hope to see you all!
i have to tell you... the first picture is a hydrangea, and i had just bought them on sale. i thought they were so pretty, but i forgot to water them ONE day and i think they're going to die. that just goes to show you how green my thumb really is...
