Dangerous Things

I've had the sewing machine out on the kitchen table for the passed few days. This can be a dangerous thing for me. It stays there and takes up a lot of space and time, with it's accompanying chaos. I stay up late at night and during the day everyone gets to fend for themselves, until the project is complete...

Anyway, I've been busy making some things. I can hardly wait to share what this mess is to become. But not until they are all finished. (Then maybe a giveaway...wink, wink?)

And I've got a little helper. Whenever he sees the pincushion, he says, "My ball." He loves taking out the pins. Dangerous, I know. I keep taking it away from him. Somehow, I don't think this is the end of dangerous things for this boy. Only the beginning. Speaking of dangerous, have any of you read The Dangerous Book for Boys by Conn and Hal Iggulden? I liked it. I think maybe enough to purchase it.

Awesome book!! We bought it for Jordan a few years ago. But has got lots of use from the other boys too.

I'm trying to guess what your project is. I see ties and gathered rounds. Bonnets? pillows? Purses? Pin cushions? Can't wait to see. Your fabric is darling.

i wish I were as diligent as you in completing a project. Maybe when you're done we can get together for my knitting lesson?

I AM ON "PIN'S AND NEEDLE'S" JUST WAITING TO SEE WHAT YOUR SEWING PROJECT TURNS OUT TO BE. I TOO NOTICED THE TIES. I'M THINKING APRONS JUST BECAUSE I LOVE THEM. I'VE BEEN KNOWN TO WEAR ONE ALL DAY LONG. THEY ARE SO CUTE THEY ARE JUST LIKE ANOTHER OUTFIT TO ME. BESIDES IT MAKES IT LOOK LIKE I AM A GREAT HOMEMAKER.
AND YOU KNOW WHAT A WORRIER I AM, I AM GOING TO WORRY ABOUT ASHER WITH THAT BALL OF PIN'S NOW.
CAN'T WAIT TO SEE THE GIVE AWAY!

I'm sure that fearless little boy will follow in Isaac's adventurous/dangerous footsteps! It's good of them to keep you on your toes.

As for that fabric, I think I know what you're making! Something special for a special hiking activity? Coincidentally, I'm making myself a skirt with that same blue daisy fabric. It's just so cute! Hopefully I'll be able to say the same for the skirt when (if) it gets done.

I am excited to use the little things I think your making. As for the book suggestion I loved it so much I bought it for my nephew, since I am a little boy impaired.
