Remember when we got the polliwogs? And they died... And then we got some more... And then they died too?
Well, my friend Shannon wanted to get some. A few weeks ago, on an overcast Friday, she took us to a new spot. She collected some tadpoles and we collected some tadpoles. Shannon kept hers, but I told the kids we had to let ours go...You see, I didn't want to cause anymore unnecessary deaths...

HOW NEAT.
I LOVE THAT YOU RETURNED THEM TO THEIR HOME.
THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE HOME!
I used to love love LOVE catching polliwogs down at the "crick" and later in the summer catching the teeny tiny frogs. Even later in the summer I also liked rounding up big frogs by the bucket full (literally) - watch out they pee!
It's good to see your kids enjoying nature; some kinds of fun never go out of fashion.
Our tadpoles died too and I later learned that it was because we added more water to their pond water. I guess they have to have "their" water because ours is just not good enough. So much for water purification huh?
Very cool! I LOVE that last picture! cute cute!
How fun for the kiddos! That last picture is so sweet!
