2009

You know, I have this memory of being in the hallway at my mom and dad's house. I was a young girl, and it was New Year's Day. I remember being really sad that the old year was over. I was by myself, and I started crying.

I still have a hard time with the passage of time.

Last night, before Aryn went to bed, she started to cry. For the same reasons that I cried so many years ago. And it made me think...we really are, our mother's daughters.

Aww, that's sweet. She must have fond memories. Good thing she can hold on to memories while looking forward :o).

PS. SO JEALOUS of your snowman!

I think you started crying after each new year because you realize your b-day was coming up and you were going to be soooo much older in now time. Just teasing! Happy late birthday--good thing the R.S. puts out a calendar letting everyone know you're older.

I get sad with the passage of time too. It's sad to say goodbye to a year that provided so many memories. I love reading your blog. You always have really fun posts.
